eSynergie
Explaining connected technology. Bridging advisory and retail.

Business Field & Location: Multichannel eCommerce · Düsseldorf, Germany
From product offering to advisory concept.
BUSINESS MODEL
Making technology tangible in everyday life.
Developing an offering for digital home networking based on selected products from the ITSHOP247 assortment. Combining product selection, personal consultation, and scheduled on-site installation for customers.
PARTNER DEVELOPMENT
Bringing aligned manufacturers together.
Initial foundation stemmed from a specialized retail program by Tech Data and Sony. Discussions with Wortmann targeted complementary entry-level systems; with Logitech and Belkin, opportunities for cooperative marketing allowances and visual merchandising for the planned retail space were developed.
DIGITAL OFFERING
Bridging information and sourcing channels.
Establishing the online portal eSynergie.de featuring insights into home networking and electronic devices for digital living. Connecting product knowledge with purchasing paths for private and corporate customers.
ON-SITE ADVISORY & SERVICE
Presenting a connected home intuitively.
For a planned retail space near Düsseldorf’s Königsallee, a living-room atmosphere concept was engineered. Customers were meant to experience connected technology in a familiar environment, configure matching solutions collaboratively, and have them professionally installed at home by service technicians.
Beyond the initial location, a specialist dealer and service network was envisioned to integrate consultation, sales, and on-site support.
Developing the concept. Evaluating execution.
The business plan for physical retail expansion was presented to multiple banks. As financing could not be secured, the retail storefront and the planned specialist dealer network were not realized. In June 2006, I transitioned to product+concept in Berlin as Head of Product Management & Distribution.
The online portal remained active as an informational resource beyond this project phase and was later decommissioned.
